The Funeral
The Funeral ties the possibility of organic death of our technologies back to its human users. In the video, I perform a Jewish funeral for my phone, which is then buried in my backyard. In my eulogy, I talk about the memories of the dearly departed, the role it played in my family, the support it gave me–all without revealing that I’m talking about a cell phone.
